Hi, I’m Carmela—founder of The Mixer. Hospitality has been my dream since I was a little girl, and I spent 11 years in the industry building experience both behind and in front of the bar. Along the way, I bartended everything from large-scale festivals and concerts to catered private events, which taught me how to create a bar experience that feels seamless, elevated, and fun.

Today, I work in the Las Vegas catering and events world, supporting celebrations at top venues and casinos throughout the city. That background has shown me what it takes to execute service at a high level—timing, preparation, professionalism, and guest experience.

The inspiration for The Mixer came during a trip to Italy, where life feels a little slower and people prioritize connection—an Aperol spritz before dinner, wine through the night, and plenty of laughter in between. I loved watching the everyday celebration of life, and I wanted to bring that feeling to events back home.

The Mixer is where I get to combine my strengths in planning, hospitality, and guest service to help create an experience people truly remember.
